What is a Kazang voucher?
Kazang is one of South Africa's biggest informal-retail payment networks. Tens of thousands of spaza shops, salons, takeaways and corner stores — heavily concentrated in townships — have a Kazang terminal on the counter. Shop owners use it to sell airtime, electricity, DStv payments, and prepaid vouchers, all for cash.
A Kazang voucher is the network's own prepaid voucher: you hand the vendor cash, they print a slip with a PIN, and you redeem that PIN wherever Kazang vouchers are accepted. No bank account, no card, no app required — which is exactly why voucher deposits matter in a country where a large share of punters run their gambling budget on cash.
Which casinos accept Kazang vouchers?

Supabets is the one operator we can point to with confidence — Kazang sits alongside OTT, 1Voucher, Blu and EasyLoad in their official deposit menu, giving Supabets the widest voucher cashier in SA. If another operator adds Kazang support, we'll update this page; until then, treat any site claiming "Kazang accepted everywhere" with suspicion.
How to deposit at Supabets with a Kazang voucher
The flow is the standard Supabets voucher redemption, confirmed on their deposits page (they also have a video walkthrough):
- Buy the voucher. Find any vendor with a Kazang terminal — if the shop sells prepaid electricity, odds are good. Hand over cash and ask for a Kazang voucher for the amount you want. Keep the printed slip; the PIN on it is your money.
- Log in to your Supabets account.
- Choose "Deposit" and select the Kazang voucher option.
- Enter the voucher number and/or PIN in the space provided.
- Click Redeem. The balance updates on the spot.

Limits and fees: Supabets doesn't publish Kazang-specific limits on the deposits page, and we won't invent numbers. Check the cashier screen before you buy a large voucher, and remember Supabets' standard account minimums apply.
One terminal, three routes into a casino
This is the part most guides miss. A single Kazang terminal sells at least three different voucher products, and they go to different casinos:

Why cash vouchers beat cards for budget control
The practical case for the voucher route, whichever brand you pick:
- No bank trail. Nothing on your statement, no bank gambling blocks to fight with.
- Hard spending cap. A voucher is pre-paid — once it's spent, there's no "just one more deposit" tap. Buying your evening's budget as a single voucher is one of the simplest bankroll controls there is.
- Township accessibility. Kazang's whole network was built for informal retail. If the nearest bank branch is a taxi ride away but the spaza shop is on your street, this is your rail.

Keep it safe
- The PIN is bearer cash. Anyone holding the slip can redeem it. Don't photograph it and post it, don't leave it in a taxi.
- Buy from the terminal, not a stranger. Only accept a voucher printed in front of you by a Kazang vendor. "Discounted" voucher PINs sold on WhatsApp or Facebook are a classic scam — the PIN is either already redeemed or fake.
- No refunds. Like 1Voucher and OTT, a purchased voucher can't be converted back to cash at the till.
